Substance Awareness and Prevention

This 5-hour substance abuse education program is designed for individuals who exhibit signs of problematic use of substances but have not yet developed a dependency. This class aims to provide comprehensive information on various substances, including alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, heroin and other drugs, focusing on the risks and consequences of their use. Through interactive sessions, participants will gain a better understanding of their behavior, learn strategies to reduce or eliminate use, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. The participants will also be introduced to the principles of the recovering community. This class is held via Telehealth and meets one time for 5 hours.
